What is this site for?

Just a small blog-y thing to make stuff more organized and to prevent stuff from getting taken down from Twitter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you want to dig through all my public files which has a lot more stuff than linked here, you can find the open directory here. It’s a bit messy due to having files across two separate drives merged into a directory using soft links, but I’ll try to organize it a bit more sometime.

Will videos be taken down?

Nope (Sorry Naver). The server is hosted in Amsterdam 🇳🇱 in a Yisp datacenter with no DMCA process or requirement so files won’t be taken down. Since it’s self hosted it also means there are no ads.

Can I share / repost / reupload / edit videos?

Yes, you can share, rehost, or use them in edits. You don’t need to credit me but please don’t claim them as your own. Also don’t blame me for copyright issues.

Do the videos have subtitles?

All MKV files have srt subtitles embedded in them. Occasionally a video on VLive may not have subtitles immediately but they won’t be uploaded until they have them (or until there’s at least English).

What languages are the subtitles?

All videos will have English subs but may be missing one or a few of the others. Usually videos will have all of the languages.

  • English (US)
  • Español (ES)
  • Indonesian (ID)
  • Português (PT)
  • Tiếng Việt (VN)
  • ไทย (TH)
  • 中文 (CN)
  • 中文 (TW)
  • 日本語 (JP)
  • 한국어 (KR)

DVD / Bluray

Varies but usually has at least English.

  • English (US)
  • 中文 (CN)
  • 한국어 (KR)

Why aren’t subtitles showing?

Most video players (VLC, MPC-HC, PotPlayer, etc.) should be able to support soft subs, you might need to enable the subtitle track manually. Mobile devices would require a 3rd-party app (VLC, MX Player, etc.) to be able to display subtitles. If you’re viewing videos through the open directory (share.jjirit.com) in your browser, there will be no subtitles shown.

Why does it keep buffering when streaming videos?

The videos are hosted on a single server in Amsterdam 🇳🇱 with no CDN. While it does have a 1Gbps pipe (shared with 9 other users), it depends on your network and peering. If you have constant issues with buffering, it’s best if you download the videos first before watching.

What CHANNEL+ channel videos are uploaded?

Always active channels:

  • BTS

Current additional channels:

  • N/A

Past channels:

  • BTOB (1 month trial)
  • B1A4 (1 month trial)
  • GFRIEND (1 month trial)
  • GOT7 (1 month trial)
  • INFINITE (1 month trial)

Where is x DVD?

I don’t buy all DVDs, like TWICE TV2 or Super Event DVD. Some uploads by others might be rehosted in the open directory.
